Previous Item || Table of Contents|| Next Item Obtaining HTML code To obtain the HTML code to embed into a web site, from the My Surveys page click Add Survey to Website. A new page will open containing all the methods to deliver a survey to respondents, which are three: By providing addressHere is the address that directs your respondents to the survey page. Copy it (using Ctrl+C, context menu, or corresponding option of your browser) and paste by the same way into the message that is to be delivered to respondents (e.g. via e-mail). By setting a browser to this address, any web serfer may visit and complete your questionnaire. This address is also available from the My Surveys page, where it is repeated for your convenience, since this is the main publishing method. By creating link or button from web pageHere is a piece of code in case you want to create a hyperlink or a button from your own website. Copy and paste it into your website, and a hyperlink directing visitors to your survey page will result. You may customize this link by changing its text (e.g. by adding invitation message), applying formatting options, or using an image to create a graphic button. By embedding entire survey into web pageThis is the survey's HTML code in case you wish to embed the whole survey into your website, so that it may be completed right at your website as if it were a natural part of it (though it is only an illusion - the actual scripts that process the survey are, of course, located at CreateSurvey). Please note that using this method of survey distribution requires at least minimum knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). There are two code fragments available: for the survey with basic formatting and a skinned survey. Note: Embedding HTML code is not available for surveys with branching. |
